Granulometry

0,5 mm a 0,75 mm

Approximate Weights

0,5 cc = 0,7 g | 1,0 cc = 1,4 g

Applicability

Procedures of implantology, periodontology, maxillofacial and bone surgery in general, such as:

  • Alveolar filling without the maintenance of the alveolar architecture, with the loss of up to two walls;
  • Intrabony defects, immediate implant anchorage, and peri-implant surgical treatments;
  • Periodontal bone lesions and parendodontic surgeries;
  • Covering of exposed spires.

Features

  • Biphasic ceramic bone graft (synthetic), high purity chemically synthesized, compound by hydroxyapatite and calcium β-triphosphate in the 70% – 30% proportion;
  • Associates the hydroxyapatite stability with fast rhythm of resorption of the tricalcium phosphate;
  • Bone substitute with lower resorption, on the other hand, it allows the reconstruction of the bone walls, especially buccal (esthetic need) with the maintenance of the bone volume and the alveolar architecture;
  • Estimated resorption between 7 and 9 months (slow absorption).

Advantages and Benefits

  • Synthetic material extremely versatile that can be used as an excellent alternative to the xenograft;
  • Excellent osteoconductive structure, allowing the vascularization and cellular deposition;
  • Allows the reconstruction of the bone walls, especially buccal (esthetic need) with the maintenance of the bone volume and the alveolar architecture;
  • It is radiopaque due to the presence of calcium, which makes easier its visualization and identification through the image.
